If you don’t appear on a Google Search….you don’t exist!

As of 2010, 70% of people searching for products or services searched ONLINE, not in the Yellow Pages.  And, the vast majority of those used Google.  This cuts across all ages, races and groups of people –not just the 20 somethings.  Don’t believe me?  Watch the short video below.

Can your customers find you on Google?  Here is a test.  Go to Google search.  Type in the most common phrase or words if someone was looking for you; include your town or area.  Did your business come up?  First page? Great you don’t need me — maybe.

Second page?  Third?  Unless your business comes up on the first page — before the bottom third of that page – NO ONE is finding you.  I don’t care what service or product you are selling.  The last business at the bottom of the first page, only gets  0.3% of any searched purchases.

So if 70% of people are going online to search and then not finding you…where does that leave your business? Within the next 5 years, probably closed.
